Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Relvique is operated by 11446339 Canada Corp. ("Relvique," "we," "us," or "our").

Relvique is built to support respectful, authentic, and safe social discovery and relationship connections. These Community Guidelines explain the standards that apply to profiles, photographs, messages, user interactions, reports, and other activity on the platform.

These Guidelines form part of our Terms of Service. By using Relvique, you agree to follow these Guidelines and all applicable laws.

1. Adults Only

Relvique is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Individuals under 18 may not create an account, appear as the subject of a dating profile, use messaging features, or participate in relationship discovery through Relvique.

Accounts believed to belong to or be operated for a minor may be restricted or removed immediately.

2. Respectful Conduct

Users must treat one another respectfully. Disagreement, rejection, or lack of interest does not justify abusive or threatening conduct.

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact.
  • Threats of violence, retaliation, or physical harm.
  • Stalking or attempting to track another person without consent.
  • Insults, humiliation, degrading comments, or deliberately hostile behaviour.
  • Pressuring another user to continue communicating, meet in person, share information, or participate in sexual activity.
  • Contacting a user through another account after being blocked or asked to stop.

Users must respect personal boundaries and another person's right to end a conversation or decline further contact.

3. Authentic Profiles

Profiles must truthfully represent the person operating the account.

Users may not:

  • Create a fake account or impersonate another person.
  • Use another person's identity or photographs without permission.
  • Misrepresent their age, name, location, or identity.
  • Claim qualifications, employment, relationship status, or personal circumstances that are materially false.
  • Use heavily altered, misleading, or artificially generated images to misrepresent their appearance or identity.
  • Create multiple accounts to mislead users or evade moderation.
  • Operate an account on behalf of another person without authorization.

Profile photographs should be recent, clear, and accurately represent the account holder.

4. Identity Verification

Relvique may require users to submit a valid government-issued identity document, selfie, or other verification information.

Verification materials must be genuine, accurate, current, and belong to the person submitting them.

Forged, altered, borrowed, stolen, expired, or misleading documents are prohibited.

A verified status means only that the user completed Relvique's applicable verification process. It is not a criminal background check, endorsement, guarantee of safety, or assurance about the user's conduct or intentions.

Relvique may reject, revoke, or repeat verification where we identify inconsistencies, suspected fraud, expired documents, or other safety concerns.

5. Harassment, Hate, and Discrimination

Relvique does not permit content or conduct that attacks, degrades, excludes, or threatens people based on protected or personal characteristics.

Prohibited behaviour includes:

  • Hate speech or hateful symbols.
  • Racial, ethnic, or religious slurs.
  • Degrading comments based on sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, nationality, or similar characteristics.
  • Encouraging violence or exclusion against a group or individual.
  • Targeted humiliation concerning a person's appearance, disability, health, background, or personal circumstances.

6. Sexual Content and Consent

Users must respect consent and may not pressure another person into sexual conversations, images, meetings, or activity.

The following are prohibited:

  • Explicit pornography or graphic sexual content.
  • Unsolicited sexual messages, images, or videos.
  • Non-consensual intimate images or recordings.
  • Sexual harassment or repeated unwanted sexual comments.
  • Threatening to publish or distribute intimate images or private sexual information.
  • Content involving sexual exploitation, coercion, or abuse.
  • Any sexual content involving or appearing to involve a person under 18.

Relvique may immediately remove content or accounts connected to suspected sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate content and may report the matter to appropriate authorities.

7. Escort Services and Compensated Relationships

Relvique is not an escort, prostitution, sugar-dating, compensated dating, or adult-services marketplace.

Users may not:

  • Offer or request sexual services in exchange for money or value.
  • Advertise escort, massage, or adult entertainment services.
  • Offer allowances, gifts, travel, accommodation, or financial support in exchange for romantic or sexual access.
  • Recruit, direct, manage, or promote another person for commercial sexual services.
  • Use coded language intended to conceal compensated sexual activity.

Suspected trafficking, exploitation, or commercial sexual activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

8. Fraud, Scams, and Financial Solicitation

Relvique prohibits attempts to deceive users or obtain money, property, financial information, or other benefits through false romantic or personal representations.

Users may not:

  • Ask users to send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or valuables.
  • Request banking passwords, card details, security codes, or account access.
  • Promote investment opportunities, cryptocurrency schemes, or guaranteed returns.
  • Fabricate emergencies, travel problems, medical needs, customs charges, or business expenses to obtain money.
  • Direct users to fraudulent websites, payment pages, or applications.
  • Participate in money laundering or payment-transfer schemes.
  • Use a romantic relationship to manipulate another user financially.

Never send money or sensitive financial information to someone you have met through a dating platform. Romance fraud commonly involves building trust before requesting money or promoting an investment. Learn more from the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

9. Spam, Advertising, and Commercial Activity

Relvique accounts are for personal relationship discovery, not unsolicited commercial promotion.

Users may not:

  • Send repetitive, automated, or mass messages.
  • Promote products, services, websites, or referral programs.
  • Recruit users for employment, sales, investment, or business schemes.
  • Collect leads or market contact lists.
  • Promote political campaigns or fundraising activity.
  • Redirect users to another dating service, paid platform, or adult service.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.

You may not:

  • Publish another person's address, phone number, workplace, financial information, identification documents, or private messages without permission.
  • Record, photograph, or distribute private conversations or meetings in violation of law or consent requirements.
  • Threaten to expose or publish private information.
  • Scrape, collect, download, or create databases of Relvique user information.
  • Share information obtained through Relvique for surveillance, background screening, employment, credit, housing, or similar decisions.

Do not place sensitive information in your public profile. Content shared directly with another user may be copied or redistributed by that user outside Relvique.

11. Illegal and Dangerous Activity

Relvique may not be used to plan, promote, facilitate, or conceal unlawful or dangerous activity.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • Human trafficking or exploitation.
  • Drug sales or distribution.
  • Weapons trafficking or unlawful weapons activity.
  • Extortion, blackmail, or coercion.
  • Identity theft or financial crime.
  • Violence, kidnapping, or credible threats of harm.
  • Organized criminal activity.
  • Encouraging or assisting another person to commit a crime.

12. Self-Harm and Immediate Danger

Users may not encourage, glorify, instruct, or pressure another person to engage in self-harm or suicide.

Relvique is not an emergency, medical, mental health, or crisis service.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Reports involving a credible risk of serious harm may be escalated or disclosed to appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.

13. Platform Security and Misuse

Users may not interfere with the security, operation, or integrity of Relvique.

Prohibited technical activity includes:

  • Using bots, scripts, crawlers, or automated accounts.
  • Scraping profiles, photographs, messages, or platform data.
  • Attempting to bypass identity verification or access restrictions.
  • Evading an account suspension or termination.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious links.
  • Testing or exploiting security vulnerabilities without written authorization.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or administrative features.

14. Safe Communication and Meetings

Users are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when communicating with or meeting another person.

We encourage users to:

  • Keep early conversations within Relvique.
  • Avoid sharing financial or highly sensitive personal information.
  • Use video or voice communication before meeting where appropriate.
  • Meet initially in a public place.
  • Tell a trusted person where they are going.
  • Arrange their own transportation.
  • Avoid becoming impaired or leaving drinks unattended.
  • Leave immediately if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
  • Report concerning behaviour to Relvique and local authorities.

Identity verification and moderation tools cannot eliminate every risk associated with online or in-person interaction.

15. Reporting a User

Users should report suspected fraud, harassment, impersonation, threats, exploitation, prohibited content, or other safety concerns.

Reports may be submitted through available in-platform reporting features or by emailing hello@relvique.com.

When submitting a report, provide enough information for us to identify the account and understand the concern. Relevant information may include:

  • The reported user's profile name.
  • A description of the conduct.
  • The approximate date and time.
  • Relevant messages or screenshots.
  • Whether immediate danger or financial loss is involved.

Do not alter evidence or submit false, misleading, retaliatory, or abusive reports.

16. Blocking Users

Users may use available blocking features to stop unwanted communication.

A blocked user may be prevented from contacting or viewing the blocking user, depending on the available platform functionality.

Creating another account or contacting someone through another channel to avoid a block may result in account suspension or termination.

17. Moderation and Investigation

Relvique may investigate suspected violations using reports, account records, profile information, messages, verification submissions, technical data, payment information, and other lawful evidence.

Reports may be reviewed manually, with technical tools, or through a combination of methods.

Relvique may preserve relevant information while investigating fraud, abuse, safety concerns, legal requests, or policy violations.

We are not required to disclose confidential detection methods, internal security procedures, the identity of a reporting user, or information that could compromise another person's privacy or safety.

18. Enforcement Actions

Relvique may take action where we reasonably believe these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law have been violated.

Enforcement actions may include:

  • Providing a warning.
  • Removing or restricting content.
  • Limiting messaging, discovery, or other features.
  • Requiring profile corrections or reverification.
  • Temporarily suspending an account.
  • Permanently terminating an account.
  • Blocking related accounts, devices, payment methods, or technical identifiers.
  • Preserving evidence.
  • Reporting suspected criminal, exploitative, or dangerous activity to payment providers, regulators, or law enforcement.

Enforcement decisions may take into account the severity of the conduct, available evidence, user history, risk to others, intent, repeated violations, and applicable legal obligations.

19. Appeals

Where appropriate, a user may contact Relvique to request review of an account restriction, suspension, verification rejection, or termination.

An appeal should include the account email address, a description of the decision being challenged, and any relevant supporting information.

Relvique may decline to reconsider a decision where the appeal is abusive, repetitive, fraudulent, unsupported, or would compromise safety, privacy, security, or legal obligations.

20. Law Enforcement and External Reporting

Users who experience fraud, theft, threats, violence, stalking, exploitation, or other criminal conduct should consider contacting local law enforcement or the appropriate reporting authority.

Fraud and cybercrime affecting Canadians may also be reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Relvique may cooperate with valid legal requests and may disclose information where required or permitted by law to protect users, investigate misconduct, respond to emergencies, or preserve evidence.

21. No Guarantee of User Conduct

Relvique does not guarantee the identity, honesty, conduct, compatibility, intentions, relationship status, background, or safety of any user.

A profile, verification badge, moderation decision, or absence of reports should not be treated as an endorsement or guarantee.

Users remain responsible for decisions relating to communication, meetings, travel, financial assistance, personal information, and relationships.

22. Changes to These Guidelines

Relvique may update these Community Guidelines to reflect changes to platform features, safety practices, legal requirements, emerging risks, or community standards.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Material changes may be communicated through the platform, by email, or through another appropriate method.
