Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Relvique is operated by 11446339 Canada Corp. ("Relvique," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the Relvique website, applications, services, and related features.

Relvique is an online dating platform designed to help adults create profiles, complete identity verification, discover other users, communicate, and build genuine connections.

By accessing or using Relvique, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of Relvique, and limited information received from service providers.

1.1 Account Information

When you register, we may collect information such as your name, email address, password in encrypted or hashed form, date of birth, gender, location, account status, email-verification status, and account creation details.

1.2 Profile Information

We may collect information you add to your profile, including your display name, age, photographs, biography, interests, preferences, relationship goals, occupation, education, lifestyle information, general location, and other details you choose to provide.

Some profile information is visible to other Relvique users. You should not include information in your profile that you do not want other users to see.

1.3 Identity Verification Information

To promote platform safety and authenticity, we may collect identity verification information, including images of government-issued identification, selfies, verification submissions, verification status, review notes, submission timestamps, and related fraud prevention information.

Identity verification is intended to help confirm that an account is associated with a real person. Verification does not constitute a criminal background check and does not guarantee another user's identity, conduct, intentions, compatibility, or safety.

1.4 Photos and Other Content

We collect photographs, profile content, prompts, preferences, and other material you upload or submit through Relvique.

1.5 Messages and Communications

We process messages and other communications sent through Relvique so that we can deliver them to their intended recipients, operate the messaging service, investigate reports, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.

We may also collect communications you send to our customer support, privacy, safety, or administrative teams.

1.6 Usage, Device, and Technical Information

When you use Relvique, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, access dates and times, pages viewed, features used, referral information, approximate location derived from your IP address, session data, and diagnostic or error information.

1.7 Safety, Reports, and Moderation Information

We may collect information relating to user reports, blocks, complaints, suspected fraud, prohibited activity, moderation decisions, account restrictions, and investigations.

1.8 Subscription and Payment Information

If paid services become available, payment processing may be handled by authorized third-party payment providers. Relvique may receive limited transaction information, such as subscription type, payment status, transaction date, billing country, currency, amount paid, and a payment-provider transaction reference.

Relvique does not intend to store complete payment card numbers, card security codes, or full banking credentials on its own servers. Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security requirements.

2. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts.
  • Verify email addresses and identity verification submissions.
  • Display profiles and provide discovery, matching, liking, blocking, reporting, and messaging features.
  • Personalize user experiences, recommendations, and profile results.

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect the rights, safety, and property of Relvique, our users, and others.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Relvique and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to operate and improve the service.

These technologies may be used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, prevent fraud, understand how the service is used, diagnose technical problems, measure performance, and improve functionality.

Some cookies are necessary for Relvique to function. Other analytics or optional technologies may be used only where permitted by law or after any required consent has been obtained.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent certain parts of Relvique from functioning correctly.

4. Analytics and Performance Monitoring

We may use analytics, hosting, logging, error-monitoring, and performance services to understand traffic, feature usage, system reliability, and technical issues.

Analytics providers may process device information, IP addresses, browser information, usage events, and other technical data on our behalf. Where reasonably possible, we limit the information shared to what is necessary for the provider to perform its services.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

5.1 Other Relvique Users

Profile details, photographs, verification indicators, and other information you choose to make available may be displayed to other users as part of the dating and discovery experience.

Messages are shared with the users to whom you send them. Information shared with another user may be copied, recorded, or redistributed by that user outside Relvique.

5.2 Service Providers

We may share information with service providers that assist us with hosting, cloud storage, database services, email delivery, identity verification, security, fraud prevention, analytics, customer support, payment processing, legal services, and other operational functions.

Service providers are authorized to process information only for contracted purposes and are expected to protect it using appropriate safeguards.

5.3 Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or other lawful process.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, protect users or the public, respond to an emergency, enforce our agreements, protect our legal rights, or address suspected illegal or harmful activity.

5.4 Business Transactions

Information may be disclosed as part of a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency proceeding, or similar business transaction. Any recipient will be required to handle personal information consistently with applicable law.

5.5 With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or provide consent for a particular disclosure.

6. Identity Verification

Relvique may require or offer identity verification to support authenticity and reduce fraudulent accounts. Verification may involve submitting an image of a government-issued identity document and a selfie for comparison and review.

Verification information may be reviewed by authorized Relvique personnel or authorized service providers. Access is limited to individuals and providers with a legitimate operational, safety, compliance, or legal need.

A verified status indicates only that Relvique completed its applicable verification process. It is not an endorsement, background check, guarantee of safety, or representation regarding a user's character, intentions, or conduct.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on your location and the circumstances, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent.
  • The need to perform a contract with you or provide services you request.
  • Compliance with legal, regulatory, accounting, or security obligations.
  • Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and protecting Relvique, provided those interests are not overridden by your applicable privacy rights.
  • Protection of vital interests, including responding to urgent safety concerns.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Relvique, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain safety, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the sensitivity of the information, the reason it was collected, whether an account remains active, legal requirements, and the need to investigate or prevent abuse.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it, subject to legal and technical limitations. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or system logs until they are overwritten or deleted through regular processes.

Identity verification documents will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for verification, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or related recordkeeping purposes.

9. Security Practices

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

Safeguards may include access controls, password hashing, encrypted network communications, authentication controls, role-based permissions, logging, restricted administrative access, secure hosting practices, backups, software updates, and monitoring for suspicious activity.

Access to identity verification information and other sensitive records is restricted to authorized individuals and service providers with a legitimate need to access the information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and should contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, including Canadian privacy law and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to lawful exceptions.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
  • Request a portable copy of certain information where legally required and technically feasible.
  • Opt out of promotional communications.
  • Submit a complaint to an applicable privacy or data protection authority.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request. We may decline or limit a request where permitted or required by law, including where fulfilling the request would adversely affect the rights of another person, interfere with an investigation, or conflict with a legal obligation.

To exercise a privacy right, contact us at hello@relvique.com.

11. Marketing Communications

We may send promotional emails or other marketing communications where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe using the instructions in the communication or by contacting us.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may continue sending non-promotional communications related to your account, identity verification, safety, security, transactions, support requests, policy updates, and service availability.

12. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Relvique account through an available account-setting feature or by contacting us at hello@relvique.com.

Deleting an account removes or deactivates the profile from normal user access. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, maintain transaction or consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect users, prevent fraud, or address reports and safety incidents.

Messages previously sent to other users may remain available to those recipients unless removal is required by applicable law.

13. Children's Privacy

Relvique is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts or use the service.

If we become aware that an individual under 18 has provided personal information, we may suspend or delete the account and take reasonable steps to remove the information, subject to applicable legal and safety requirements.

14. International Data Transfers

Relvique is operated from Canada. We and our service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where service providers operate.

Privacy and data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws in your location. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, or other lawful safeguards for international data transfers.

Information processed in another country may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, regulators, or national security authorities under that country's laws.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Relvique may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third parties.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing information to it.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to Relvique, our privacy practices, legal requirements, service providers, or business operations.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where required by law or where changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the service, by email, or through another appropriate method.

Your continued use of Relvique after an updated policy takes effect means that the updated policy will apply to information processed after its effective date, subject to applicable consent requirements.
